Summer 2006
The 6th annual Keith Wells tournament was well
attended despite the rain and the presence of Eddie Doyle.
Glen Penn and John Cook (above) valiantly defeated Lynn O’Brien and Roger
Hughes (below) in the final, at the end of an extremely enjoyable afternoon
held in Keith’s memory, i.e. with amazing(ly interesting) tennis, some
choice comments and conviviality.
Ann Wells presented the prizes, and Martin and Barbara Bloor were thanked for
their skilful organisation of the entire event.
