Veteran Tennis

Several members have represented Cheshire in their relevant age groups,
including Barbara Bloor, Sue Owen, Linda Simpson and John Simpson..
The Club has several members successful at the 2009 county championships. John Simpson with Mark Reading won the Men’s O35’s doubles. John Simpson with Jeff Fairbotham won the Men’s O45’s doubles. Barbara Bloor with Mark Reading beat John and Linda Simpson in the final of the Mixed doubles O40/O45’s event. Barbara Bloor with Sue Winters won the Ladies O50’s doubles. Linda Simpson with Bob Martin were runner up in the Mixed doubles O50/O55.

National Veterans Inter-Club Championship

A team has been entered in the Mixed O40/O45. In 2008 the club reached the national quarter finals. Captain: Barbara Bloor 0151 342 1830
