CLUBHOUSE

At the monthly meeting with the Architect and the Builder on 29th November we agreed we would close upstairs in the clubhouse for the week commencing Monday 10th December. This will apply to both the bar and the function room.

This will enable the builder to take out the main staircase and do the conversion works on the landing and around the main entrance. Once this work is done, it should be possible to keep the clubhouse open right through to completion of the contract at the end of February, although of course there will continue to be a level of inconvenience to members.

Although the clubhouse will continue to be a building site for another three months, I do encourage members to look in and see how work is progressing. The project is really beginning to take shape and it is exciting to see the new facilities which should be complete well in time for the 2008 season.
